One of my little brothers got married this summer, and my little boys got to be in the wedding. They weren't too disruptive and were very cute.

Bailey likes to watch tv in my bed in the mornings before going to school. However the light from the tv is too bright initially, so he wears shades.

Bailey after somehow falling off of a bucket and then having his face hit the same bucket. This required a plastic surgeon and having to be stitched under anesthesia. The worst part of this -- he will never want to go to the regular doctor again. Children's hospital has LOTS of riding toys, and they let him gently go to sleep so there was no pain.

These are pictures of the damage from Katrina to the house and property where I grew up. My parents live in central Mississippi, 120 miles inland from the coast, and about 160 miles NE of New Orleans. They were in the direct path of Katrina. Katrina was still a catagory 2 hurricane with wind gusts of ~100 mph when it reached them. My parents have a basement that is offset from the house, under several feet of concrete so they knew that even if the house didn't stick around, they would be fine. They were extremely lucky -- the damage in the pictures is about as bad as it got, although they were without power for eleven days and did lose a LOT of timber.

Katrina -- This is normally a clear path to the barn. Notice how stripped the trees are of leaves and straw, and then notice what appears to be mulch on the ground. Guess that's where the leaves and straw went.

Katrina -- Patches of the roof are stripped bare down to the wood, and the trim is probably someplace in north MS.

Katrina -- Dad's tractor "garage" lost a bay. Luckily he moved the tractors well away from any trees or buildings.
